Real Canadian Liberal

Many of you will have heard of, or watched, the documentary film 'The Corporation' released in 2005, which explores the development of the corporation into an entity that enjoys many of the rights of an individual, despite being little more than a legal entity.  Of note, it uses the DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) to assess many corporations against the criterion used to diagnose psychopathy.

In the film, Dr Robert D. Hare, a University of British Columbia psychology professor and FBI consultant, one of the world's leading experts, if not THE world's leading expert, on psychopathy; compares the profile of a contemporary profitable business corporation to that of a clinically diagnosed psychopath.  Dr Hare has since objected to the portrayal of his views in the film, believing them to be presented out of context.  He claims that while some corporations meet the description of a psychopath, many do not.

I believe that he's both right, and wrong.  Those who have studied economics in the modern era, as well as classical, mediaeval and modern history will have noted that this phenomenon has been well documented for centuries, and emerges under predictable circumstances.

​

To explain this adequately, it is worth paying attention to a characteristic of any corporation that Joel Bakan, the author of the award-winning book 'The Corporation: The Pathological Pursuit of Profit and Power' has to say about the legal limits of corporate decision making:

​

"The law forbids any motivation for their actions, whether to assist workers, improve the environment, or help consumers save money.  They can do these things with their own money, as private citizens.  As corporate officials, however, stewards of other peoples' money, they have no legal authority to pursue such goals as ends in themselves - only as means to serve the corporations' own interests, which generally means to maximise the wealth of its shareholders.  Corporate social responsibility is thus illegal - at least when its genuine."

This description of corporate legal limitations doesn't clearly illustrate the problem, although it provides clues to the detail oriented observer.  To further illustrate the conditions under which corporations go wrong, it is important to hark back to 1759 and Adam Smith's The Wealth of Nations, "People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices."  John Stuart Mill later repeated the warning, "Where competitors are so few, they always end by agreeing not to compete."

As G.K.Chesterton observed, "Too much capitalism does not mean too many capitalists, but too few capitalists."

​

The problem, as Jonathan Tepper explains in detail in The Myth of Capitalism; Monopolies and the Death of Competition, is that any environment where monopolies, duopolies, oligopolies or cartels form results in the 'Death of Competition', and it is in an environment lacking competition that any institution automatically becomes psychopathic and wealth inequality in society maximises and social unrest becomes inevitable.

​

It is under conditions of 'Industrial concentration', in which there is no competition in the market, that corporations begin to make decisions that meet the DSM-IV definition of clinical psychopathy:

​

1.  Callous disregard for the feelings or harm of other people.

2.  Inability to maintain human relationships.

3.  The reckless disregard for the safety of others.

4.  Deceitfulness (lying to maximise profit).

5.  Incapacity to experience guilt.

6.  A failure to conform to social norms.

7.  A failure to respect the law.

Ironically, Karl Marx proposed to fix this problem by replacing corporate monopolies with state monopolies.  This resulted in similar wealth inequality as in corporatist nations, but with one other crucial difference, a socialist state also has a monopoly on military and political power and the ideological impetus to use it.  Therefore, political violence maximised under Marxist derived rule.

​

Marx merely moved the problem from the non-state to state sector, but did nothing to solve the problem.  This is like preventing cyanide from being put in one's morning coffee only to have it put in your food.  The source of the poison has changed but the result is identical.

​

The last three years have seen this effect on steroids.  The widespread collusion between government health agencies and private corporations saw a fake pandemic imposed on the entire world with the result being the greatest wealth transfer from the poor to the ultra-rich in human history.  Over 600 million people were pushed to the brink of starvation while 500 new billionaires emerged at the top.

​

Let's examine the COVID-19 debacle as a case study.

​

First, there is the detail of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.  It emerged on the scene in mid-2019 in China, reaching Canada in October 2019.  Nothing was said by health officials or the media until January 2020, by which time the virus had spread everywhere.  When my daughter was in the local emergency with a secondary bacterial pneumonia in mid-January 2020, the doctor on call reported treating '19 cases in the last 5 days with identical symptoms'.

​

That was two full months before the Alberta Government and/or Alberta Health Services took any action.  Essentially, it was already too late to 'stop the spread' in January 2020, but there's no money to be made, or political power to be grabbed by accepting the evidence so, in March 2020 public health authorities began to institute a number of 'non-pharmaceutical measures' to combat COVID-19 (the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2).

​

This despite the work of many scientists, including Dr Michael Levitt PhD (2013 Nobel Laureate), in February 2020 that revealed the SARS-CoV-2 Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) to be around 0.15, later confirmed by Dr John Ioaniddis MD PhD (2020, 2021 and 2022), the most highly ranked life scientist IN HISTORY, or at the top end of SEASONAL influenza (range 0.05-0.15) and lower than the 2018 influenza.  Despite many critical reviews of Dr Ioaniddis' earlier publications on the issue, his first two studies were published by the WHO in September 2020 and January 2021 respectively, and his latest review of the data reveals the pre-vaccination COVID-19 IFR to be 0.03 to 0.07%, at the bottom of the seasonal influenza range.

​

So no pandemic.  Yes, you read that right, the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak was never deadly enough to be declared a pandemic.

​

BUT, they claimed, it was a 'novel' virus and very deadly . . . 

​

Except the scientific community had familiar with this Beta coronavirus since the mid-1960s and the spike protein on it having been patented (yes, patented) by US researchers in the early 2000s.  There was nothing novel about the viral nucleocapsid or spike protein, both were well known by the scientific community, with the latter having been developed, illegally, by the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

So, we're at:

​

Deceitfulness ('novel' virus, unusually deadly, just arrived, etc)

Disrespect for the law (virus/spike protein developed in a lab in violation of the Biological Weapons Convention of 1975)

​

Then, we all had to 'stop the spread', despite the spread having already happened.  By the time any government took action, the 'gompertz curve' that describes all infectious respiratory disease outbreak, had already rolled over and infection rates were reducing.  The spread had already happened.

​

(But there's no profit to be made in accepting the scientific facts and no political power to be gained by telling the truth.)

​

So, we hit:

​

Lack of empathy for harm to others (destroyed careers, businesses, education, enhanced public fear, etc )

Disrespect for the law (lying to terrorize public (Canadian Criminal Code Section 83.01 (Terrorism)), forcibly closing a business outside of war and where the economic damage is not justified by 'military necessity' (Article 1 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and Section 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court) and quarantining the asymptomatic (healthy) despite asymptomatic transmission being a myth (Canadian Criminal Code Section 279(1) and Article 9 of the ICCPR).

​

Then we progressed to using masks to 'stop the spread' despite 16 RCT and C-RCT studies in the scientific literature demonstrating conclusively that medical and N/KN95 masks had little effect and cloth masks increased respiratory infection rates by 300%.  Ironically, three years later we now have over 80 RCT and C-RCTs on the public use of masks and . . . they still don't work.  Well, that's not entirely true, they've been successfully used for at least 3.5 millennia to dehumanize slaves to both their masters and each other, but nobody in mainsteam media managed to point out that well established scientific and historical gem.

​

(Simply put, there's no money to be made or political power to be gained by following the science or telling the truth and no competition to expose the corruption.)

​

Then we ignored the discovery of Antibody Dependent Enhancement / Vaccine Triggered Autoimmunity (ADE) discovered in 1958 during an attempt to develop a vaccine for Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), a close relative of Coronaviruses (CoV).  Both RSV and CoV use a strategy known as 'biomimicry' to avoid immune system detection.  They do this by using structural proteins that closely replicate human body tissue proteins, therefore avoiding the 'self vs not-self' detection system of the immune system.  The consequence of this strategy, however, is that an immune response to RSV/CoV can result in antibodies that target the body's own tissues by accident, resulting in autoimmunity and a deleterious effect.  All efforts to develop a vaccine that avoided this problem were abandoned by 2012.

​

Plus we ignored the fact that Pfizer patented the first CoV vaccine in 1990 and proceeded to try to get one to work for the next 28 years.  Every attempt failed because, in addition to ADE killing a proportion of the test animals, a CoV is too genetically unstable to develop a vaccine for.  By the time a vaccine is developed, the CoV has mutated away from the vaccine antigens and the vacccine induced antibodies became incapable of neutralizing the latest CoV variant.  Simply put, by the time a vaccine was introduced it was obsolete.

​

Between ADE and genetic instability, the scientific world had concluded that developing a 'safe and effective' RSV or CoV vaccine was technically impossible.

​

But there were about ($)26 billion reasons for Pfizer to ignore this scientific reality in 2021 alone (plus similar obcene levels of revenue in 2022 and 2023).  Similar scale of financial motivation existed for Moderna, J&J, AstraZeneca, etc to similarly ignore the science and capitalize on public panic created by public health agencies subject to corporate capture.  There was money to be made everywhere by almost everyone in public health, both corporate and government.

​

Money talks and truth walks.

​

Plus there's the big legal issue.  Article 7 of the ICCPR and the Nuremberg Code prohibit coerced participation in a 'Medical or Scientific Experiment', which all CoV vaccine programs were and still are.  A 5-year long term safety trial cannot possibly be completed before 2025, making every vaccine mandate/suggestion/push/advertising campaign on earth ILLEGAL.

​

How illegal?  Well, the Nuremberg Code and Article 7 of the ICCPR were written as a consequence of the actions of Drs Mengele, Gohrbandt, et al and their experimentation in Auzschwitz, Dachau and other Nazi concentration camps.

​

So laws written post Nuremberg, specifically to stop Nazis from doing Nazi things, were ignored to allow corporate and state interests to violate human rights for profit and power consolidation.

​

See where this goes?

​

Industrial concentration is the inevitable consequence of socialism and unregulated corporatism.  The results are identical in both cases, the concentration of wealth and power in the hands of a very small minority . . . 

​

 . . . and the inevitable descent into PSYCOPATHIC institutional decision making.

​

There's no way out of this natural tendency other than the constitutionally mandated devolution of political power and property ownership and the creation and ruthless enforcement of robust anti-trust regulation, the very regulation the WEF is currently lobbying to 'protect' major 'stakeholders' from.  They conveniently leave out the fact that 'stakeholder capitalism' is just 'fascist corporatism' by another name, the very economic model adopted by Mussolini's Fascist Party, Hitler's National Socialist German Workers' Party, Mugabe's Zanu PF, the CCP post-Mao and into which the west has now slid very dangerously and is fighting a very bloody proxy war in Ukraine to protect (Ukraine may soon be renamed 'Blackrockraine').

Psychopathic institutions were/are the inevitable consequence and mass murder is always hot on the heels of enough corporate/state institutions becoming psychopathic.

​

Let that little tidbit of historical and scientific reality sink in.  Then get out in your community and start doing something about it.
